Natalie Papienski, Senior Stylist / Athena Salon and Spa Hair Cutting Coach

Natalie has been a hair stylist at Athena Salon and Spa since fall of 2006. She is a member of the first graduating class of the Aveda Institute in Tallahassee, from which she received an award for the highest GPA and completed the Masters Program, a curriculum which focused on advanced training in cutting and coloring techniques. In the summer of 2008, Natalie was invited back to the Aveda Institute to judge the Aveda Rocks the Runway scholarship contest.

Since coming to Athena Salon and Spa, Natalie has participated in the Spring 2007, Spring 2008, and the Formal Style Collections. She also acts as a cutting coach for the Athena Salon and Spa team. She regularly attends both color and cutting classes at the Aveda Institute to learn about new trends and to improve overall as a hair stylist. Also, in the fall of 2008, Natalie had the opportunity to attend Aveda Congress in Minneapolis, a three day event that includes classes, fashion shows, and demonstrations by some of the industry's most talented platform artists.

In addition to her cosmetology license, Natalie has a bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida State University. She was attracted to the beauty industry because it gives her a chance to use her creativity to make a difference in the lives of others. She spends her spare time exercising, taking yoga classes, and baking. She also enjoys singing and swing dancing.
