Senior Stylist / Aveda Hair Color Educator

Cody joined the Athena team in January 2005. She originally moved here from Texas, where she had been a practicing Esthetician for 5 years, with a focus on makeup application and skin care.

Working under Mary, Cody started as a color coach for the Athena team and worked her way up to become an Aveda Hair Color Educator. She is committed to providing a high quality, customized service to meet each individual guest's needs.

Cody has taken numerous Aveda classes and attended several Aveda hair shows including: Mastersjam St. Petersburg 10/05, The Art of Teaching 9/06, Congress Minneapolis 10/05, Haircutting & Styling 10/05, Mastersjam Miami 10/06, Business College 3/07, Congress Minneapolis 10/07, Seeds of Preparation 8/08, Learning Garden 9/08, Aveda Business College 7/09, Advanced Haircutting 4/10 and also regularly attends Hairshows in Premiere Orlando.

Cody was a guest judge for Rock the Runway competition at the Tallahassee Aveda Institute. She has collaborated on 5 of Athena's Collections and helped create the Currents of Color fashion show Athena held in 2005 for charity. Outside of work, she also loves doing hair styling and makeup for photo shoots or with models for editorials.

While Cody's passion lies in hair color and cutting, she still loves to do facial and body waxing or any make up service.

When Cody is not at work, she loves being outside, whether it be hiking, biking, camping, or kayaking. She also has a strong love for live music and traveling. She spends her time outside of work with friends, family, and her two dogs.
